"Miracles are fantastic events which utilize hidden laws

of nature that most people are not aware of.

Miracles do not break the laws of nature, they

are actually based on them!"

Pranic Healing® is a highly evolved and tested system of energy medicine developed by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui that utilizes prana to balance, harmonize and transform the body's energy processes. Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life-force. This invisible bio-energy or vital energy keeps the body alive and maintains a state of good health. In acupuncture, the Chinese refer to this subtle energy as Chi. It is also called Ruach or the Breath of Life in Hebrew. Pranic Healing® is a simple yet powerful & effective system of no-touch energy healing. It is based on the fundamental principles that the body is a self-repairing living entity that possesses the ability to heal itself and that the healing process is accelerated by increasing this life force that is readily available from the sun, air and ground to address physical & emotional imbalances. Master Choa Kok Sui says: "Life Energy or Prana is all around us. It is pervasive; we are actually in an ocean of Life Energy. Based on this principle, a healer can draw in Pranic Energy or Life Energy from the surroundings."

Pranic Healing® requires no drugs, gadgets, not even physical contact with the subject. Physical contact is not required because the practitioner is working on the bioplasmic or energy body and not directly on the physical body. This energy body, or aura, is the mold or blueprint that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body. It is the energy body that absorbs life energy and distributes it throughout the physical body, to the muscles, organs, glands, etc.

The reason Pranic Healing® works on the energy body is that physical ailments first appear as energetic disruptions in the aura before manifesting as problems in the physical body. This pervasive energy that surrounds, interpenetrates and sustains the physical body, also affects our emotions, our ability to handle stress, relationships and even finances. "In Ancient times, Pranic Healing® could only be practiced by an elite few. My job was to develop a very effective healing system, which ordinary people could learn in just a short period. Anybody can practice Pranic Healing® now. The knowledge of being able to deal with simple ailments is quite empowering."

Distant Healing Intentionality (DHI) or ‘nonlocal healing’

may be defined as a method of compassionate Health Care delivery to support and accelerate the recovery rate of a distant patient.

Distant Healing Intentionality (DHI) techniques are known by many names, including intercessory prayer, spiritual healing, aura healing, energy healing, Pranic Healing®, energy psychology, shamanic healing, nonlocal healing, therapeutic touch (TT), quantum-touch, qigong, reconnective healing, Johrei, and Reiki. Each of these methods carries its own idiosyncratic theoretical and cultural forms, and some DHI methods include both distant and proximal (but without direct contact) variations. A common feature shared among DHI techniques is the assumption that distance between the healer and healee is not a limiting factor. This nonlocal aspect of DHI defies classical physical assumptions and accounts for its controversial status even among alternative biofield therapies.

In the United States, DHI is one of the most common healing practices outside of conventional medicine. For example, in a survey of American adults by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Health Statistics, of the top 5 most popular Complimentary Alternative Medicine (CAM) healing practices, 3 involved prayer. The most popular CAM practice was prayer for oneself, and the second most popular was offering prayers for those who are ill and using forms of meditation where the practitioner holds a compassionate intention to relieve the suffering of another.

Some practices focus on curing a very specific disease state while others emphasize creating a compassionate environment that can have a healing effect. Virtually all distant healing practices are concerned with alleviating the suffering and increasing the well being of others.

There are numerous perspectives on how distant healing works. Common to virtually all perspectives is the belief that a person's focused intention can have a nonlocal effect, that is, the healing intention of one person can have a positive effect on another who is at a distance.
